9 days Tour from Tangier

Morocco is a fascinating destination where culture, history, and spectacular landscapes intertwine in an unforgettable experience. Our 9-day tour from Tangier will take you to discover the best of the country, from imperial cities to the majestic Sahara Desert.

Day 1: Arrival in Tangier and City Exploration

We begin our adventure in Tangier, a vibrant city with a unique blend of European and African influences. We will visit the Kasbah, the Grand Socco, and the famous Hercules Cave. Enjoy panoramic views from Cape Spartel, where the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean meet.

Day 2: Tangier – Chefchaouen

In the morning, we head towards Chefchaouen, the iconic blue city of Morocco. Here, we will explore its narrow cobbled streets, blue-painted houses, and vibrant markets. We will visit Uta el-Hammam Square, the Kasbah, and enjoy a panoramic view from the Spanish Mosque.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

Our journey continues to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, we explore Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities, where we will visit Bab Mansour Gate and El-Hedim Square. Finally, we arrive in Fez, where we will spend the night.

Day 4: Discovering the Imperial City of Fez

We dedicate the day to exploring Fez, Morocco’s cultural city. Visit the Fez el-Bali Medina, one of the largest and best-preserved in the Islamic world. We will explore Al-Qarawiyyin University, Bou Inania Madrasa, Chouara Tannery, and the Jewish Quarter (Mellah).

Day 5: Fez – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

After breakfast, we head south through the Middle Atlas. We will pass through Midelt, a city surrounded by mountains, before entering the spectacular Ziz Valley. Upon arrival in Merzouga, we prepare for a camel trek through the Erg Chebbi dunes, where we will spend the night in a Berber camp under the starry desert sky.

Day 6: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

We wake up early to watch the sunrise in the desert before continuing our journey to the Todra Gorges, an impressive red rock canyon. Then, we continue to the Dades Valley, where we will admire the landscapes of the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs.

Day 7: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Our journey takes us to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert” and famous for its film studios. We will visit Taourirt Kasbah and continue to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, we cross the High Atlas through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech.

Day 8: Discovering Marrakech

We dedicate the day to exploring Marrakech, a vibrant city full of history. We will visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Majorelle Gardens. At night, we will enjoy the spectacle at the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square.

Day 9: Marrakech – Rabat – Tangier

On our last day, we travel to Morocco’s capital, Rabat, where we will visit Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Finally, we return to Tangier, concluding our incredible 9-day tour of Morocco.
